Readers' Theatre: Crusaders Amok
Feb. 17th and 18th!

The Penfield Players are thrilled to present their Winter Readers' Theater, "Crusaders Amok", written and directed by local playwright Tristan Berlet.

 

If you liked what the British did for the Spanish Inquisition, you’ll love what Tristan.

 

Afraid of death? You're a lot smarter than any of the characters in this new crusading comedy. But if you aren't, then join this crew of noble madmen as they set out to destroy anything and everything in the name of Innocent; Pope Innocent to be exact, and his Crusade!

Performances are :
1. Saturday, February 17th, at 2:00 PM
2. Sunday, February 18th at 2:00 PM

As is the Players' tradition, both performances are free to the public, but donations are gladly accepted.

Moon Over Buffalo cast list announced

The Penfield Players are excited to announce the cast list for "Moon Over Buffalo", written by Ken Ludwig and directed by Shawn Essler

A travelling repertory theatre company are on tour and dealing with dwindling audiences due to the rise of televisions in the home in 1953. But famous movie director Frank Capra is in town to see the show and could be the answer to their prayers for Hollywood stardom. Affairs, lawyers, mistaken identities, poor communication, and a healthy dose of day-drinking threaten to derail the entire thing!

 

All this and more in beautiful downtown Buffalo!!!
